UB-220

　　UB220 resin is a linear, hydroxyl terminated polyurethane polymer designed to be used as a binder for ink formulations. For ink applications, it gives high hardness to coated surface and excellent abrasion resistance. (UB220 系列树脂是线型羟基链端聚氨脂聚合物 。用于油墨配方，表面硬度高，耐磨性能高。)

　　UB220 resin is readily soluble in methyl ethyl ketone(MEK) and shows low viscosity. It is also soluble in acetone, THF, DMF and other polar organic solvent and many aromatic solvents can be used as diluents. （ UB２２０易溶于ＭＥＫ , 粘度 . 低．也溶于丙酮，四氢呋喃，二甲基甲酰胺，极性有机溶剂，也可用其他芳香族溶剂稀释）

　　A proper choice of solvents is important to ink formulations. The following table shows the effect of various solvent systems on SKYTHANE UB220 polymer. Solvents which are shown to swell the polymer are usually satisfactory as diluents for polymer solutions. 　选择溶剂对油墨的配方很重要，以下为UB２２０在不同溶剂里的溶解性．作为聚合物溶解的稀释液，如果溶剂使聚合物膨胀通常被视为安全可用。

CHARACTERISTICS AND SUGGESTED ADDITIONS （特性及相溶添加剂）

　　UB220 offers excellent adhesion as well as outstanding pigment dispersion characteristics. It can be formulated by blending with other harder dispersing resins. (UB220 具有很强的粘附力且与颜料兼溶分散性能优越．与其他分散型树脂混合可成配方 )

UB220 can be used in blends （可混合以下添加剂）

- with nitrocellulose （硝化纤维 ）

- with vinyl co-binders including the various dispersing types currently available

HANDLING CONSIDERATIONS （操作条件）

　　Properties of all thermoplastic polyurethane products in the molten state are adversely affected by moisture. Although UB220 compounds are dry when packaged, trace amounts of moisture can be absorbed during storage and handling. For best results, always dry the material twelve hours at 25 ℃ (77 ℉ ) in a dehumidifying hopper dryer.
